ARRIVAL

On the day of arrival your room will be available from 15:00.

DEPARTURE

On the day of departure we kindly ask you to leave your room by 10:30. Depending on whether or not the room is needed for other guests, there may be the option of checking out later for an extra fee. Please speak to a member of staff at reception the day before you leave.

RECEPTION

Our reception team will be happy to assist you from 8:00 until 21:30.

POSTCARDS

Postcards are available from reception for €0.40 per card. There is a postbox at reception, next to the red information board.

ATTRACTIONS

We have information folders with details of many attractions and days out in the Salzburg region. Please ask a member of staff at reception if you wish to look through the folder. They will also be happy to tell you about currrent opening hours and prices.

PRINTING & PHOTOCOPYING

We will be happy to print and photocopy items for you at reception.

STAMPS

Stamps are available at the reception .

LIBRARY

In the TV room (next to the seminar room) you will find a library.

FLOWERS

We will be happy to organise a bouquet of flowers for you. Please let us know at least two days in advance.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Payment can be made at reception from 8:00 to 21:30. We accept cash, debit cards and credit cards (VISA, MasterCard).

TELEVISION

Each room has a cable television that can be used free of charge. Out of respect for other guests staying in the neighbouring rooms please keep the volume down.

PRESENTS

We have a small selection of ceramics, honey, creams, etc. in the display case near the entrance to the hotel.

PETS

Pets are welcome in our hotel. We charge €12.00 per day per pet (not including food). Please be aware that pets are not allowed in the dining room.

HOCHKÖNIG CARD

Once you have checked in you will receive the Hochkönig Card from reception. This card gives you a range of deals and discounts on sights, attractions and cable cars in the region.

INTERNET

There is free wireless internet in all the rooms, in the lounge area and in the dining room. Please speak to a member of staff for the password.

POST/MESSAGES

Post and messages can be found in your pigeon hole at reception.

UNDERGROUND PARKING

In winter guests can use our underground parking facilities for €6.00 per day or €32.00 per week. In summer guests can use the underground parking facilities free of charge.

BABY PACKAGE

We will be happy to put together a baby package including a cot, changing mat, nappy waste bin, baby bath, highchair, buggy, back carrier and baby intercom.

CHILDREN'S PLAY ROOM

There is a children's play room on the ground floor, next to the stairs leading to the reception desk. We also have table tennis and table football facilities in a room next to the terrace. Bats and balls are available from reception.

CHILDREN'S MENU

We have a special children's menu avaiable at dinner.

CHILDREN'S ACTIVITY PROGRAMME

In the summer months children (up to 15 years of age) can take part in the local activity programme. Holders of the Hochkönig Card receive a discount. Please speak to a member of staff at reception for more details.

BREAKFAST

Breakfast is served from 7:30 until 10:00. Guests can look forward to a healthy and hearty breakfast buffet with fruit and vegetables, muesli, yoghurts, milk fresh from the dairy farm, juices, cold meats and cheeses from the region, jams, fresh bread and rolls.

AFTERNOON SNACK

Our afternoon snack is served from 14:00 until 17:00. It includes main courses as well as coffee and homemade pastries.

DINNER

Dinner is served from 18:00 until 20:00. It comprises a five-course meal with three different main course options, including a healthy option. Diners can help themselves to the fresh salad buffet and cheese board. We also offer regular highlights such as ice cream buffets, Italian buffets, local delicacies and gala dinners.

CHILDREN'S MENU

We have a special children's menu available at dinner.

FURTHER FOOD & DRINK OPTIONS

From early morning until late afternoon guests are welcome to help themselves to tea, juice, water and fruit.

Our dining room closes at 21:00. Guests are welcome to continue the evening with a drink at the hotel bar.

In the dining room and at the hotel bar, guests staying at the hotel receive all drinks half price!
That means a bottle of wine which normally costs €48.00 can be bought for just €24.00!

Stornobedingungen

Unsere Stornobedingungen lauten wie folgt:

• Bis 21 Tage vor Urlaubsbeginn können Sie kostenlos stornieren
• 20 Tage bis 14 Tage vorher werden 70% des Reisepreises verrechnet
• 13 Tage bis 7 Tage vor Urlaubsbeginn werden 80% verrechnet
• 6 Tage bis Reiseantritt werden 90% in Rechnung gestellt
• Bei Nichtanreise oder vorzeitiger Abreise werden 100% des Reisepreises verrechnet.

Bitte beachten Sie, dass eine Stornierung nur schriftlich erfolgen kann.

Jede Stornierung ist anders – gerne besprechen wir mit Ihnen Ihre Situation.  

Bereits getätigte Anzahlungen werden im Falle einer Stornierung in Form eines Wertgutscheines in Höhe der geleisteten Anzahlung abgegolten und können zu einem andern Wunschtermin eingelöst werden.

Want to take our photos of the day's guided hike home with you as a souvenir? We will be happy to put them onto a CD for you (€5.00 per CD).

HIKING BUS

Arrival and departure times of the hiking bus can be found on the information board at reception. We will be happy to provide you with your own copy of the timetable.

WEATHER SERVICE

Our daily newsletter includes the latest weather forecast.

HIKING CARD

Pick up a hiking card from reception and collect stamps from different mountain huts in the region.

SHUTTLE SERVICE

We will be happy to take you to and pick you up from places which are not served by the local hiking bus.

SHOE ROOM

Next to the entrance to the hotel you will find a room for storing ski boots in winter and hiking boots in summer. We kindly ask you to leave your hiking boots here and not walk through the hotel wearing them.

HIKING EQUIPMENT HIRE (free of charge)

Rucksacks, hiking poles, umbrellas, telescopic poles, Nordic walking poles, etc. can be borrowed free of charge from reception.

CABLE CARS

Details about the operating hours of the cable cars in Maria Alm-Dienten-Mühlbach can be found in the information folder in your room.

INDOOR POOL

Our indoor pool with massage jets, counter-current system and underwater bubble jets is open for your enjoyment between 7 am and 9 pm. Please do not leave your children unsupervised at the indoor pool!

 STEAM BATH

Soothing warmth (approx.. 45°C) and gentle humidity increase blood circulation, especially to the skin. The skin is cleansed deep into the pores, becoming soft and beautifully smooth. Cramps and muscle tension are relieved. The stresses of daily life are reduced. Tendencies towards rheumatic complaints begin to fade away. Overworked respiratory passages are able to relax and breathe freely once more.

 ZIRBEN SAUNA

Soothing warmth, fragrant “Zirben” wood, soft light: in our sauna pure well-being flows through every muscle of your body. Perfect for you and even for your body after a day on the slopes or a day of hiking.

HERBAL SAUNA

Our herbal sauna is a low-temperature sauna which is therefore particularly suitable for beginners. Through breathing and skin the essential oils have a soothing and stimulating effect because of the special herbal infusions. Diseases of the respiratory tract are influenced particularly favourably and the metabolism is stimulated. 

Generous shower facilities, and the open-air sauna courtyard complete the sauna pleasure. Open from 3– 7 pm. For children less than 13 years, it is forbidden to take a sauna without an adult!  

 INFRARED CABIN

Temperatures in our infrared cabin reach 35°C, making you feel like a whole new person. Gentle, deep-acting infrared heat awakens a new vibrancy within you, also working wonders for numerous complaints: back pain disappears; the immune system is fortified; stress is reduced, muscle tension melts away; And in the process, this gentle form of sweating even results in weight loss.

 LOUNGE WITH INFRARED BEDS

The radiation emitted by the infrared beds ensures thorough warming of the skin and the underlying tissue layers. The muscle warming leads to increased heart rate. This promotes the entire metabolism in the body and causes an intensive skin cleansing and purification. The improved blood circulation activates the body’s self-healing powers, relieves muscle tension and relieves irritation of the joints. The heat thus works deeper and more intensively, without straining the circulation.

 SALT GROTTO

Salt has many benefits, according to both modern and ancient history.

A Polish physician was the first to officially recognise salt therapy.  He discovered that salt miners rarely suffered from respiratory diseases, thus linking the inhalation of salty air with health benefits. Dr Bochkowsky called this speleotherapy, from the Greek word "speleo", meaning cave. Salt therapy has been popular in Eastern Europe ever since, with the treatment being used for:

• allergies and hay fever
• pulmonary or bronchial diseases
• rheumatic diseases
• headaches  and migraine
• digestive disorders
• cardiovascular diseases
• stress and exhaustion

ROOM OF REST

Our new relaxation room above the roofs of Dienten with cozy bunks and heavenly floating loungers invites you to relax and unwind. The wellness roof terrace is the perfect place for sunbather. During the opening hours, fruits and drinks are available in front of the relaxation room and in the lounge.

MASSAGES

Treat yourself to a massage on holiday! A massage is the perfect way to relax from head to toe. Talk to our in-house masseur for details on the different massages available.

SKI PASS

Save time queuing in the morning and buy your ski pass directly from reception. Ski passes are available from anywhere between one and eight days. Other ski pass options can be purchased from the ticket office at the bottom of the Bürglalm-Bahn cable car.

SKI SCHOOL

Information on courses and prices at the local ski school "Skischule TOP" is available at reception. The head of the ski school, Herr Meixner, comes to our hotel on Saturdays and Sundays at around 20:00 and will be happy to give you further information and advice.

SPORTS SHOP

We have our own sports shop where you can hire equipment, have your skis serviced, etc. Guests staying at the hotel receive 20% off when renting equipment and 10% off when purchasing articles.

SKI AND BOOT ROOM

There is a storage room for skis and boots at the hotel entrance. In order to avoid confusion we ask you to place your ski boots in the boxes. Please remove any snow from your ski boots before entering the hotel. We kindly ask guests not to wear ski boots in the hotel. Thank you for your understanding.

WINTER HIKING PATHS & CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING TRAILS

In Dienten there are around 25km of well-maintained winter hiking trails. Cross-country skiers will enjoy the 10km "Hochkönigloipe" on the Dientner Sattel ridge.
