Mountain Biking
Mountain Biking and Cycling in the SalzburgerLand
Hochkönig’s “Mountain Kingdom” greets you with beautiful landscapes woven in myth, along with a 250 km-long network of cycling and mountain-bike trails extending out between the towns of St. Veit, Schwarzach and Goldegg, along with Bischofshofen and Mühlbach. Bikers on the Hochkönig are free to tackle 7,800 metres in elevation changes, while rustic mountain inns along the way invite you to stop in, relax and enjoy hearty country snacks. From gentle tours of only 11 km and 280 vertical metres, to challenging expeditions of 41 km and 1,240 metres in elevation, the mountain-bike network on the Hochkönig has the perfect MTB tour in store for you, no matter what level of difficulty you seek!
